In the Wii version of Rocket Rodeo you can shake the Wii Remote really hard to make Patrick perform a series of animations on top of the rocket, and every time he does this the color of the rocket's flames change from the standard orange to blue, green, purple, green again (or turquoise?), and back to orange in this order.The flying sections in the Wii version also add an aim in front of the characters to make shooting easier. ![]() The flying sections are also easier in the Wii version as the fuel meter depletes more slowly compared to PlayStation 2 and GameCube, again most likely to compensate for the controls.The racing vehicles in the Wii version run slightly faster compared to the PlayStation 2 and GameCube versions, most likely in an attempt to make the races easier to compensate for the motion controls.Oddly, this model is only used during the platforming sections of Diesel Dreaming and Alaskan Belly Trouble, the other levels all use the same standard model used in the PS2 and GameCube versions. SpongeBob has a more detailed character model in the Wii version with slightly more pushed-in holes.These don't appear in the other versions. The Wii version has additional info screens at the start of the second and third sections of Rocket Rodeo explaining that you now have the ability to shoot lasers and how to defeat the Patty UFO boss respectively.Also in this level, when Plankton takes damage in the Wii version a red outline glows around him for a few seconds, while in the other versions he himself glows orange.Some of the attack animations for Plankton during Revenge of the Giant Plankton Monster are different in the Wii version.The Wii version skips the start-up animation for the dash move, meaning the characters instantly start running when activated.Luckily there are more instruments than these. For example, SpongeBob can play the guitar and harmonica, Patrick can play the drums and a slide whistle, and Plankton only plays the synthesizer. ![]() In this game mode, you can play various instruments with SpongeBob, Patrick, and Plankton.
